TRANSFER: NAPOLI AND ATLETICO MADRID FIGHT OVER JAMES RODRIGUEZ

The former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich boss Carlos Ancelotti has reportedly asking James Rodriguez to come down to Napoli and in the midst of the talk, Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation to know when to dive into the scenario.

James Rodriguez left Monaco for Real Madrid in Laliga and the Laliga giant recently loaned him on a 2-year deal with Bayern Munich and now Ancelotti wants him at Stadio San Paolo in Serie A, home of Napoli. Napoli Manager is hopeful James signs for the club after Bayern Munich refuse to make a permanent deal when his loan deal ended and he returned to Santiago Bernabeu.

“I don’t know if he will come, but we hope so” says Ancelotti who still continues to say “James is a good player who pays anywhere in the midfield and in the attacking, knowing him very well has made me understand that he can play in all positions in the midfield.”

“There was a time I used him as a left winger, right winger and even as a number 10. Fielding him on the pitch is not a problem.”

Napoli are only interested in letting the Colombian come on a loan but report says Real Madrid want a permanent deal of €42million just to  raise money for their huge spending this season so far. It seems James wants the No 10 shirt as Carlos Ancelotti responded to this by saying that “As for the number 10 shirt, I would say the important thing is that he puts on the Azurri Jersey.

Atletico are spending huge this season as well, we believe they can contend with Napoli in winning James’ heart.
