MONACO SACKS THIERRY HENRY AS HE LEFT THE CLUB TO THE RELEGATION ZONE
Monaco have sacked their Manager, Thierry Henry, according ESPN FC sources.
Henry who took over the club from Leonard Jardim on Oct 13, has been sacked, Jardim is a Portuguese Coach who led Monaco to the ligue 1 title in 2017 and also led them to the semi finals of champions league at the same year, will be considered for the job again just as the French media reported.
Since last year October when Thierry Henry took over the job, he hasn't won any ligue 1 games at home. The only success he had was to sit the club at the relegation zone (19th position). The club announced that they have suspended the former Arsenal player from his managerial job but a source says it's only for a while.
Thierry Henry and his assistant Franck Passi will not be in the training ground today ahead of this weekend match due to the decision the club made, the source also said that "Some of the players had gone to the board to complain about the TACTICS, METHOD and the introduction of the Centre-back Kamil Glik who is not suppose to break into the first team.
Henry sometimes said he have uncommitted players in his team that the board should do something about it. He continued as he also said "we need guys who want to save the club, who don't think about themselves."
Thierry Henry has refused to talk about the action and/or what the future of Monaco holds for him.
The former Monaco Coach, Thierry Henry was also once a player at Monaco for 5 years/seasons which he won a league title with them in 1997.
